Does anyone reading this have recent experience with the Wooden Trolls ‘Forgotten Giants’ bike route?

That map has a discontinuity, which leaves me a little befuddled. Is that because that eastern route is considered a separate grouping from “the six forgotten”? Or because bikes aren’t allowed on the Skrædderholmen? And if the latter, how would we get from one route to the other?
Also, any bike rental recommendations? Visit Copenhagen has this list:

My impression (which could be wrong) is that Donkey Republic is more appropriate for short term rentals (eg museum hopping) rather than a multi-hour adventure. If true, Baiskeli or Rosenborg might be more appropriate for us.
Any tips or suggestions welcome!
Context: My husband wants to do some cycling while we are in Copenhagen, plus we’d like to see more trolls (have already seen Green George). We’ll be there May 27 to June 1, based in the Islands Brygge neighborhood. We are two reasonably fit older adults, although our exercise leans much more to running than cycling. We did do a couple longish rides in the Netherlands last year (eg 25 and 30 (very flat!) miles over the course of a day).
