My husband and I are vacationing in Copenhagen in June. We are trying to determine the best part of the city to stay.
We have narrowed it down to the Nyhavn area or city center. Benefits and suggestions for either location are welcome.

I lived in the city center when I studied abroad in Copenhagen and loved it. I lived just down the street from the Round Tower (Rundetaarn). Anywhere in this central area gives you very good access to all of the major sights you may be interested in seeing, and is not too far from the metro. The Nyhavn area will be a little more crowded and a little more loud, in my opinion. The city center is gorgeous, historic, and there's lots to do in the area. Have a great trip!
