We are spending 2.5 weeks in Denmark during the first half of May. The plan is to explore Jutland, with Aarhus as our base, for a week. We will finish in Copenhagen for a week. We are thinking of going to Aero for a few days on the way from Aarhus to Copenhagen. I read that this will still be off-season in Aero. I wonder if early May is a good time to go to Aero - will restaurants and other sites be open? Would it be better to spend our time in Odense?
I THINK the season starts in Easter, but check each restaurant - there aren't too many :-)
My strategy is to find the area on Google Maps, look for NEARBY restaurants and check each of them.
I checked a few and they open in March.
Definitely stop in Aero for at least a couple nights. It’s so beautiful and walkable.
