Aarhus- walkable hotel Location

I'm a senior woman, travelling solo. It's my first visit to Aarhus. I'll be there for 2 days. I prefer to walk to sights and activities. I'm considering 2 hotels: Radisson Blu or Scandic. It looks like either of these hotels would work to walk to most highlights. For those of you who've been there, please let me know your opinion, if there's a downside or upside to either, or perhaps you have another recommendation. I'll be there later this month. Thank you!

The Scandic is a bit closer to the city centre so that would be my suggestion. And Scandic is usually a pretty reliable hotel chain.

We usually use Scandic, when we are in Aarhus. If you come by car the entrance to the parking is from Hans Hartvig Seedorffs Stræde 1.

Thank you for your responses. I'll book the Scandic.
With only 2 days in Aarhus, do you have suggestions for priorizing sights?

It depends on your interests

Art: https://www.aros.dk/en/

History: https://www.dengamleby.dk/en/

Shopping: Salling Aarhus, Søndergade 27. Also a very good view from the top.

Even better view: Lighthouse on Helga Pedersens Gade 950, 8000 Aarhus Centrum, but there is a fee to get to the top. I don't remember how much.

Chill: the area around the canal: Åboulevarden between Immervad and Mindebrogade.

Hello - We stayed at the Hotel Royal and really liked the location for walking around Aarhus.

I would recommend The Occupation Museum that is right across the square from the Hotel Royal. We also enjoyed ARoS, Den Gamle By, and just strolling the city.

ARoS was fantastic (and I am not one for museums).
It's not so much a tourist attraction as a very interesting place. Dokk1 is a multi-purpose government building on the waterfront. It has an automated parking garage that was very cool.

Scandic fully booked, so I'm staying at the Ritz. I'll check out the Royal when I'm there, cause I hope to return.

Thanks for the tip on ARoS. It's on my radar, but I no longer enjoy traditional museums. That slow museum walk is a back breaker for seniors. But if it's unique, I'm in!
