6 hour layover

Any recommendations for how much one person can do in Copenhagen during a 6h layover (Norway -> Copenhagen -> USA)?
I won't have any bags, just a purse. Travel period: 2nd week in August.
Thank you!

It only takes 15 minutes by train to get from Copenhagen’s airport to its Centraal train station so you might have two-three hours before you will need to get back to the airport. That’s enough time to see a lot of the city on foot or by Hop-on Hop-off bus and possibly visit Tivoli Gardens, which is just across the street from the Centraal train station.

I've just been to Copenhagen once, last year, so by no means an expert especially on minimizing travel. (Will be going again next month, thus poking around these forums). My favorite thing to do was climbing up and seeing the view from the top of Vor Frelsers Kirke. Then again, we went back a few days later when our young adult sons joined us and they were less enthralled - not sure if they were bothered by the heights or what.

If it's not rainy, I might suggest taking the metro from the airport to the Christianshavn stop, walk three blocks to the Knipplesbro harbor bus stop, and take the 992 harbor bus up to Orientkaj (the end of the line.) That should take about an hour, depending on when the harbor bus arrives. It's a great way to see the city from the water. You can then either stay on the harbor bus back to Nyhavn or take the metro from Orientkaj to Kongens Nytorv and check out Nyhavn. Then metro back to the airport from Kongens Nytorv. Or if time is short, metro from Orientkaj to Kongens Nytorv and change lines there to the airport. It's about 20 minutes from Kongens Nytorv to the airport by metro.
