We (myself, wife and 10 yo son) are planning a 16 night trip to Denmark and Sweden (plus ending in Helsinki) in June, and just looking for tips on itinerary. We have been to Norway in the past so won’t be going there this time around. Initial thoughts:
Nights 1-3: Copenhagen (maybe one day trip north one of the days)
Nights 4-7: some combination of Aero, Odense and/or Aarhus. Not sure what people would recommend. We definitely want one day as a day trip to Billund for my son, so two nights in Aarhus seems reasonable for that, perhaps. Alternatively we could add a day in Copenhagen I suppose.
Nights 8-9: Probably Kalmar, though was also considering Lund. Not sure which is more worth two nights?
Nights 10-12: Stockholm
Night 13: Sleeper ferry to Helsinki
Nights 14-16: Helsinki, might consider day trip to Tallin, but could also shave a day here and add to Stockholm instead?
