I have been meaning to post my gratitude to Rick Steves' Europe for recommending David and Association Imagine Tours. I was on the "Paris and the Heart of France" tour in mid-July, and stayed on to take a one day tour of Provence, and specifically the lavender fields. What an amazing time I had! From start to finish, Imagine Tours was wonderful to work with, replying promptly, and offering help and suggestions for every question I might have, as well as providing information I never thought to ask! My personal tour guide (yes, it was just the two of us), Evelyn, was a gem. She picked me up at 9:30 in the morning, and we spent the next 10 hours in the exquisite countryside of Provence. In addition to the lavender fields and a distillery for lavender, we visited a beautiful, ancient abbey, charming little towns, enjoyed delicious food and wine, and so much more.
