I was so fortunate to have three days with Pinar touring Istanbul. The tour was very easy to arrange with SRM travel. Lale who owns SRM Travel (that is Ricks Steves partner tour company in Turkey) made it very easy for me to customize my tour. I wanted to focus a day on architecture, a day on food and then a third day on history and private museums. Pinar was delightful, very professional, and extremely well prepared. She shared so many interesting things about Istanbul that are not found in many guide books or easily accessible public information. I had gifts I wanted to buy at the bazaar for friends and family and Pinar did an excellent job of introducing me to very good products at a fair price. She nickname me turbo shopper because I finished my list quickly but I could not have done it without her. She shared her personal stories with me which I treasured and gave me a much better perspective of life in Istanbul. I was so fortunate that she joined my Best of Turkey Tour for a few days and I got to be with her again. It was like a reunion with a old dear friend. If you take a tour with Pinar, you will leave Istambul with wonderful special memories!

Were you on the first Best of Turkey?? Wow. How did you like that? Any issues? I'd heard they restarted.
