Going to Lyon and as a foodie and wine guy and knowing Lyon is the gastronomic capital of France am looking for a walking tour.
Anyone have a recommendation on this subject?

It's been a year ago but we booked a food tour with Cozymeal https://www.cozymeal.com/fr/lyon/food-tours. I just checked and they still have it available (it was the one called "Explore Historic Lyon"). We had 6 stops and loved every part of it.
If you like, they also offer cooking classes but we didn't book any of their classes in Lyon.
