Hello,
I am considering doing a Versailles tour with either Paris Webservices or the Tour Guy. Does anyone have experience with either tour company or would you recommend another company. Going in April 2025.
Thank you
Greg

Take a look at the official Versailles website app - https://www.chateauversailles.fr/decouvrir/les-ressources/application-chateau-versailles - and ask yourself if you need a guide at all. You can download this onto your smart phone.
It is pretty comprehensive and detailed. And it is flexible in that there are multiple different audio tours (with pictures) for you to follow.
And more.
All in all, about two dozen tours, two of which are for kids, with each of the specific location tours ranging in time from 30 minutes to two hours. PLUS it’s easy to skip though any one tour from room to room and easy to skip over rooms, so if the second ante-chamber in the Dauphin’s Apartment is of no interest … skip it and on you go.
It is light years beyond the RS self-guided tour Versailles download.
Once you generally familiarize with Versailles from any guidebook, spend some time with this App before you go to Versailles to consider what you want to see there - and whether a guide is what you want or need.
Thank you Fred. I’ll take a look.
