We greatly appreciated the recommendation in the Rick Steve's Italy book for Through Eternity tours. We booked a 5.5 hour small group tour of the Vatican before it opened to the public. We found Through Eternity tours very easy and professional to work with. Our guide, Maurizio's, was friendly, very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Using this tour made sure we saw the right things and didn't waste our time. Maurizio was able to find out there was a unscheduled service coming up in St. Peter's Basilica, and got us in just before it closed to the public. We were very grateful for his knowledge and insight to get us in as we would have been terribly disappointed to miss this. We would definitely recommend using Through Eternity Tours and taking the small group, pre-opening 5.5 hour tour.

We also did a Vatican tour with Through Eternity and it was the best tour I've taken. That was back in 2008, so I am so glad to hear their standards have been maintained. We also took a Forum/Colosseum tour with them, and my sister did the night walk. Money very well spent.
