I am sure this has been covered BUT can I please get some suggestions on wine tours in the Tuscany/Chianti region? I am looking at WalkAboutTours but would like something more intimate. These are big groups!

hope this helps you out with lots of options. will you only be doing tuscany area or other parts of italy?

If you are going to Tuscany from Rome, Walks of Italy has a lovely tour called Day Trips from Rome: Tuscan Hilltowns, Castles, and Vineyards. We went on this tour April 2018. Maximum group size is 15.

Tour by Roberto does tours with 8 passengers in a van. Very nicely done and reasonable for a full day. And not just wineries. You can select an itinerary that also features history and scenery. Highly recommend. Also recommended by Rick Steves.

We used http://www.cooltours.it last September and had a great time. Anna uses a minivan seating eight people. She really knows her wine.
