I'd love to get recommendations on Tuscan day tours from Florence that are wine focused. We'd prefer a join-in tour with a small group over private (save $ and meet new friends!) and want to maximize our wine tasting time and visit as many wineries/tasting rooms as possible rather than exploring the towns or sightseeing. Thanks!
Hi Rachelle,
I did the "Wines of Nobiliity" tour through Art Viva - www.artviva.com and a "Montepulciano & PIenza" tour with Tuscany Tours - www.tuscanytours.com and both were great. Check out their websites for other tour options.
We like this one- www.tuscan-wine-tours.com/tuscan_wine_tours.htm which has joinable small group tours of no more than 16 people.
Thank you for the info! Rich, I can't find a Montepulciano & Pienza on the Tuscany Tours website. All I see are multi-day escorted tours. Do you have a link directly to the one you took? Thanks!
It looks like Tuscany Tours is no longer offering single day tours. The Art Viva tour was very good, I'd try them
Hi Rochelle,
I've been researching the same thing. It depends on your age, but this looks by far the best day tour I've found. Heaps and heaps of reviews on tripadvisor rave about it. I'm going to do it next year when I am there, and I'm also going to do there other most rated tour which is of the Amalfi coast.
