Trip from Milan to Bellagio by train and ferry

Train to city of Como, walk to ferry , sail north to Bellagio. Beautiful trip. We have done this.
Or train to Varenna, then take a short ferry ride across to Bellagio. Have taken ferry from Bellagio to Varenna for lunch and back . Always have stayed in Bellagio, four trips there. Buy a ferry pass.

We took the train from Milan to Varenna and then the ferry to Bellagio. It is very easy!
