I've just booked a B&B in Bayeux in mid April and need recommendations for tours from there.
Not planning to rent a car and would like to use day trips in small buses/vans to various locations.
Suggestions please??

Overlord seems to get good reviews, I think the tour company Battlebus is back in action and they seem to have favorable reviews as well. Dale Booth used to be with Battlebus years ago, but he has his own company now - he was fabulous. There is a British expat named Stuart who was with Battlebus and now is either on his own or with another company - we enjoyed him as well.

Some of the tour firms you could consider in that area.....
- Dale Booth Normandy tours
- D-Day Historian (Paul Woodage) BattleBus was operated by Paul, but that firm is NOT operating any longer, as he's changed to operating only private tours on his own.
- Overlord Tours These seem to be well rated, and they offer both full day and half day tours to fit any budget. I believe some of the former BattleBus guides are now working with Overlord.
- Bayeux Shuttle I've never used these tours, but they appear to be well rated.
You should be able to arrange a tour with one of those firms, but I'd suggest booking EARLY. I've toured with both Dale and Paul, and both are exceptional and extremely knowledgeable guides.
