My family and I are planning a trip to Netherlands in a couple of weeks and we have reached out for an ancestry tour from a recommendation, Tours by Locals. Does anyone have a code they could share for a discount? Our tour is a bit more expensive for our family of 5, so we have to pay on top of the regular tour price to transport us. I heard promo codes are given after tours to share with others, so thought I'd check.

if you can find out who is doing the tour, contact them directly. All of the 3rd party sites are charging up to 25% commission to tour operators and they are probably passing that on to you with a higher priced tour than if you booked direct. Try contacting the tourist info, though you are going in a couple of weeks, which means guides may be booked out already. This is high tourist season.
