Hi….can anyone recommend a specific private tour guide in London. We (couple) are visiting at the end of April and would like to hire a driver/guide to go to Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace.

Or just get a train.

Welcome to the Forums.
You might put a similar question in the England Forum where people who specialise in London hang out.
If we give you clear directions are you able to follow them? Are you scared of using a train? Are you worried about getting lost?
I think a driver or a guide (different jobs) would be overkill and a lot of money for what many people can do for themselves for both Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace, but if you need one I'm sure people can help suggest.
Do you intend to spend 3 or 4 hours at each in the same day?

No clue about cost or if he’s good but couldn’t hurt to email.
Also it is easy to get to Windsor and Hampton Court without a guide. Born when Truman was in office and I’ve traveled to both solo without a guide.

Agree it is so easy to do this on your own. We stayed near Waterloo Station last year and took train directly to Hampton Court. When we stayed in Earls Court area we took underground and I seem to remember we had to change trains in Slough to get to Windsor but again super easy. Can't see need for a guide.

I don't have a suggestion for a guide as I've done both of these venues on my own with the audio guide from each.
Are you planning to do both on the same day? Because I do not recommend that. Windsor and Windsor Castle usually take me 3/4 of a day. Hampton Court Palace takes me a full day including the train from/to London.
