Tour Guides in Amsterdam

We used Free Walking Tours Amsterdam yesterday and our guide was excellent. They do a variety of tours and a few people in our group did some of those and raved about them. Our group only had 8 people so it was nice that they try to keep them small.

I looked at the website entitled "Free Walking Tours" and found seven different tours. Sounds like a wonderful idea.
I was wondering about the tipping policy but a suggestion on the website is 10 Euro per person. I like knowing what is considered good and acceptable.
On the website it states that the maximum group size is 15. We're planning to be in Amsterdam in May so I will assume the group size wil be close to the maximum.

Our group was 15, and they split that into two groups which was nice. So our group had 8, which we felt was the perfect size. We tipped 30 euro for the 2 of us as I was unsure of what the right amount was. Our guide was really good though, so it was well worth it!

We did the classic tour, but two other couples in our group had done the food tour with them the night before and said it was wonderful. On this main page, our guide was Paul, who is on the far right. He was a lot of fun!
