We'll be in St Petersburg, Russia, for 3 days, 2 nights on a cruise ship in June.
We would like some recommendations on what tour group to hire for our 3 days there. Any recent experiences would be very helpful.
How reliable are these tour groups? We really do not want to prepay for any of these tour groups.
Are there any tour group that follow the St Petersburg touring recommendations of Rick Steves?

We were on a cruise on the Baltic with Celebrity last june (2013) and we used Alla Tours in St. Petersburg. We were only there for two days (one night) and got on their grand tour. Best tour guides ever. Small group experienced guide. We skipped all the museum lines with our guide. No advance payment they even wait until the second day to ask for payment.
