My husband and I arrived in Istanbul the afternoon of May 12, 2022 and started a tour within 30 minutes. Volkan was our tour guide and he was absolutely FABULOUS!!!! He knew a plethora of historical details and was very personable. Volkan set the tone for our entire trip. As we left our hotel, he asked what types of things we might be interested in purchasing and accompanied us to the historical rug store and assisted us in negotiating a price. He also recommended a restaurant for our first meal in Turkey. The next day we went on a day long trip of Istanbul with Alp. Alp was also very personable and knowledgeable about the historical sites. He recommended different dishes at restaurants and allowed us many opportunities to take a break. Both guides made sure to answer all of our questions. We are in love with Istanbul after our wonderful experiences with SRM travel. Traveling there was a very long desire of mine and it was wonderful! Lale was extremely easy to work with, had quick responses, and was helpful in us understanding exactly what we wanted out of our trip to Istanbul. I can’t say enough wonderful things about SRM, Volkan, Alp, and Istanbul!
