If you are visiting Sarajevo, I highly recommend Sarajevo Funky Tours for their 1/2 day Siege Tour. We spent an interesting morning on a minivan tour of Sarajevo, concentrating on the various sites and sights relevant to the 4-year siege of Sarajevo during the early 1990s. Our guide (sorry, I can't remember his name) knew the story of Sarajevo well and provided an engaging history lesson as he drove us along Sniper Alley, to the Tunnel by the airport, and then to several other spots in the hills around Sarajevo (including the Olympic bobsled track). His explanations include personal remembrances of how his family survived the siege. The Tunnel Museum, was also very interesting. We were able to walk through a short stretch of the tunnel to get a feel for what it was like. I think this tour is essential for any visitor to Sarajevo.
