I just tried to add a good review to some 2019 reviews of our recent Palermo tour guide, but due to inactivity, the post had been closed, so I'm starting it over again. We read about Francesca Lombardo in the old post and contacted her ahead of our October 2022 Sicily visit. Although we only had time for a half-day Palermo visit, I know she offers tours of surrounding sights, including Monreale. What a fun morning we had! She met us at our hotel at 8:30 sharp and we began our walk to see many beautiful sights. Her English is excellent and knowledge complete. Where we didn't have time, she recommended things along the way that we may want to consider for a future visit. One of those we managed to squeeze in later that afternoon and it was the Opera house, which was well worth the guided (required) visit. Francesco customized the tour according to our wishes, so we were able to end up at the Capo market to taste some of the local specialties for lunch before saying our goodbye. We will return, Francesca, and we look forward to seeing you again!
