Rome Walk with Francesca Caruso

My adult daughter and I just returned from 26 days in Europe. We started in Rome and the highlight of our trip was a day spent with Francesca Caruso visiting the Colosseum, the Forum and Capitoline Hill. Before we ever arrived in Italy, we had been corresponding with her for over a year (trip originally planned for 2020 was obviously rescheduled). She answered questions about all kinds of things besides our tour with her: hotel reccomendations, walking tours, food tours, other tour guides for Vatican, Pompeii, Venice, etc.
She is a guide that loves her city and loves sharing her knowledge. She tells stories and brings the locations to life. She shares dates and numbers, but doesn't overwhelm you with them. She easily transitioned from historical (my daughter says nerd) questions from me, to the questions from my young adult. She is simply the BEST!

I agree, Francesca is so wonderful. I have been lucky enough to take 2 of her tours. I learned so much and her presentation is always interesting.

What a great day that must have been! Would love to know any recommendations she had for Rome - hotels, food tours, restaurants, etc. And her thoughts about any other places to see besides the ones you visited with her.

Lucky you! She is a fabulous guide, able to engage all ages and interests. It’s so hard to get her as she is in such demand.

I would also love to hear any of her suggestions as we hope to be in Rome again in May.
