Refund from Icelandair

We booked a trip to Iceland and Norway for this July through Expedia. Icelandair canceled our return flight back from Bergen to Reykjavik. I requested a refund. Expedia is saying Icelandair is only offering us a voucher. I think this is odd since they are the ones canceling. Any suggestions on how to get a refund?

That is one of the reasons it is better to buy your ticket direct from the airline and not from a 3rd party reseller. EU261 rules still apply, if the flight is cancelled, you should get your money back.
