On my recent trip to Prague 3/26 to 3/30/22, I accepted my brother's recommendation and booked a walking tour of the Old Town and Jewish Quarter with Jason - www.livingpraguetours.com. Jason knows his stuff and adds great anecdotal background and stories to the actual historical information. The route through the neighborhoods for this tour was reasonable and covered all of the sites advertised. His wit and personal approach were an additional benefit. Any question and request was answered and addressed. In addition, I mentioned the need for a negative Covid test from a lab to verify the results so I could board the plane back to the USA. Jason brought me to a location on Wenceslaus Square and helped me to register for the testing so that I could have the test conducted the following day. Like I mentioned, a real personal touch. I have had many different guides for tours in various cities throughout Europe but Jason is the best yet!
Jason is the best!
I always smile when I hear a trip report about Jason. When we contacted Jason in 2019, we were pleased that he was available. It ended up we shared our tour with another lovely couple. Jason was so accommodating, kind, knowledgeable and witty. He was always willing to provide information that we needed. Glad you enjoyed your tours! You described him to a T. We always hire guides throughout Europe and beyond. We agree, Jason is the best!
I took 2 walking tours with Jason during my 2nd visit to Prague. He showed me so many impactful things that I never would have known about on my own. I appreciated my return visit much more because of my time with Jason.
I agree completely that Jason's walking tours are worthwhile and enjoyable. But in addition, he is also a great trip-planning resource. In addition to the Web site dedicated to his tours, he offers a separate Web site https://livingprague.com/ which contains a wealth of information regarding how to navigate this city, which can at times be confusing or stressful. He gives much more practical information, and in greater depth, than you'll find in Rick's guidebook, and he offers videos on YouTube as well.
