We are thinking we would like a driver and tour guide from our Sorrento Hotel to Pompeii for our group of 4. Recommendations on best provider of that service? I know we can take train and then take our chances on a guide, but if possible, we’d like to pursue this.

We had a super guide just from the pick at the door. Just spend a few minutes talking to make sure you understand the accent and outline your tour. Pompeii is massive and you can spend all day if you wanted to.

Kathy, can I ask who you booked for your Pompeii tour? I emailed the guide suggested above 2x and haven’t heard back. We have more leeway with dates but I would like to book someone soon.

We booked a RS recommended driver and tour guide. Giovanna Donadio. Sorrento pickup, to Pompeii with our own tour guide and then driver taking us to winery tour/lunch near Vesuvius. [email protected]
They do many different tours/excursions.
