Fabrice Maret was, for us, a perfect guide. We found his contact information in *France 2014,* wrote ahead to book an afternoon tour, and were very happy that we did. He arrived at our hotel on time and traveled with us in our rental car to Chenanceau and the Royal Chateau in Amboise, all the while helping us to understand the history of the region and the significance of the sites we were visiting. I had visited the Loire Valley before but gained a much deeper understanding of it because of Fabrice. His deep knowledge, cheerful manner, gentle humor, and fluent English make him a great travel companion. Another great Rick Steves recommendation!
