Has anyone worked with a guide in Wales that they would recommend? We are interested in finding someone to help us plan an itinerary for Northern Wales that focuses on pre-Edward ruins, and then to escort us on the trip. So castles and other vestiges of the Welsh princes, early churches, other buildings.
Here is an online site with some useful information: https://cadw.gov.wales/learn/sites-through-centuries/prehistoric. This covers all the time periods. We drove all around North Wales ourselves looking at the Edward Castles. It was fairly easy with good signage and info most everywhere. You might try contacting Welsh Genealogy Societies to find a guide. I've heard that some College Students do guiding as a part time Gig.
Thank you!
