We have confirmation of the Best of Turkey Tour next April. We only have one day ahead of the tour start as we are coming off another RS tour. Can anyone recommend a good 1/2 day food tour in Istanbul?

I did a half day food tour with Istanbul on Food in September, 2019. Our guide was Ibrahim. I thought the tour was fantastic. It includes a ferry ride to the other side of the Bosphorus.

Hi..I have done 3 tours with Backstreets. Each was fun..informative..great way to see the different areas of the city..and soooo much food! We loved it..I have done it solo..once with 4 of us..another time just 2. The groups were small. The guides wonderful! Enjoy!

Another vote for Backstreets. We were led to off the main streets food stops including a candy shop that had been operating for 70 years and the prices were one third of those on the main streets. My favorite was the sweetbreads sandwich. Don't look it up before you sample it. BYW, Istanbul was one of the most accommodating and helpful cities we've ever been in.
