Florence walking tour -fantastic!

Per Rick Steve’s recommendation from his Italy guidebook , we hired a guide through Artviva for “The Original Florence Walk” as a private tour for our group. Fantastic! Exceeded our expectations!
Three hours spent together made the history, art and architecture of Florence come alive (and as a side benefit, we never felt lost during the rest of our stay, using all the landmarks pointed out in our tour.)

If you are on the fence about tours, just do it! Otherwise you’ll be walking past important history without even noticing it!

We used the same group, ArtViva, for our first time in Florence, 2002. Glad they are still as good as they were back then!

Whoa! I just signed us up for 2 tours in Florence this summer; one food tour, the other a 5 hour Chianti tour. But I'll definitely check this one out.

We are headed to Florence in the fall and were just planning on using the RS audio guided walk which we have done in several cities. I wonder now if this walk is better? Perhaps we will do both for comparison.

We also followed RS recommendation for Taste Florence Food Tours. Outstanding!!! Highly recommend them. (And they were hands down better than another company’s food tour we did in Rome). I’ll be posting a separate review,

Luv2Travel, this year the summer was the only time we could get away.

And honestly, the heat almost never bothers us. We're pretty much used to it, living in Oklahoma (without a/c.) As long as we have a breeze, we're usually okay.
