Favorite day trips from Venice

So excited to be saying that we booked our tickets last night for our second trip to Italy! We will stay in Venice for 4 nights and am wondering what the forum members favorite day trips are within about an hour train ride of Venice? Thanks

Christy, Verona is just a short train ride away. If you leave early in the morning your should be able to visit all the biggies, have a great lunch, and return to Venice in lots of time for dinner. TC
