We just returned from a week stay in Krakow, Poland. I found a guide that I saw mentioned in this forum that I wanted to mention. Her company is Krakuska Krakow City Guide and her name is Janina. I hired her for two, half day tours to tour us through the Jewish Quarter and the ghetto and another day to go through the Old Town.
The first day was with my family of 5 (my husband and I along with our 3 children, ages 11, 10 and 7). The second day, my parents joined us and they are in their 70's. She was so great and engaging with ALL of us. She had great stories which kept everyone, even the kids, interested.
She also was extremely helpful and accommodating with me in scheduling transportation for us to see Auschwitz and the salt mines and restaurant recommendations which were all spot on.
We have been on a 2 month European tour and Janina has been a real find - thanks to this forum! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a great guide in Krakow!
