We recently returned from a three week trip to England, Scotland. And North Wales. We had 3 nights in North Wales, the first being the day we landed in London. Our connections worked great, first getting a cab to Euston station then a high speed train to Chester with a transfer to Conwy, N Wales. We were there by dinner time and in our B & B for a good night's rest. Our first full day was spent in Conwy and Llandudno recovering from jet lag. The second day we had booked our North Wales tour guide, Judy Brough, for a day tour around North Wales. We wanted a tour focused on Welsh history, based on the Sharon Kay Penman's trilogy and historical trail, and the life of Llewelyn Fawr. We were more than excited and pleased with our experiences! We started on the Isle of Anglesy, journeyed thru Snowdonia National Park, saw Caernarfon castle and then many highlights of Llewelyn's and Joanne's lives. We had asked Judy to check to see if we could find a Welsh choir performance on one of the nights there, and she did! She delivered us to a delight ful pub for dinner ( she had made reservations for us) and afterwards we enjoyed an outstanding choir performance. She also made reservations with a cab company to get us home after the performance. Judy is knowledegable about her country's history, makes history exciting, is energetic, and covered alot of territory. Judy has a comfortable vehicle, knows the routes and is a safe, conscientious driver on those narrow roads! She attends to details and her customers comfort (she had bottled water for us, hand sanitizer etc). We had an amazing time with Judy in North Wales....the sun even broke thru the clouds, making for a sunny picnic on the shores of a beautiful lake, in the company of swans, at the base of Mt Snowden. We hope to return someday for more time in North Wales thanks to Judy's enthusiasm and insight. Here is her contact information:

Hello, Sky. My husband and I are planning a similar trip in May. We have 3-4 weeks to spend in Scotland, Northern England and North Wales. I am going to consider your idea of a guide for a few days in Wales.
