I have read all the posts on how to try to get tickets for the Colosseum during the day. Their site says night tours are only available on Thursdays. Has anyone this summer had luck getting some tickets? And if so, when does this ticket window open? 8:00 am Rome time when the day tickets start to release? Or exactly 24 hours before the first tour, 8:00 pm Rome time? Any suggestions to help get a ticket would be greatly appreciated.

Tickets go on sale 7 days in advance and I would expect they sell out the same day, No idea what exact time they go on sale and I can't find any information online but you could ask the question in the "Speak with Nero" chat function on the Park's website (bottom of page; lower right).
