We are in the middle of planning our trip in mid-September to the Dordogne and Carcassonne. We are both interested in seeing the Cathar castles and are hoping the collective wisdom can point us in the right direction for a good day tour. We'd prefer not to drive ourselves on the winding roads and would welcome a guided tour that includes good historical info as well as transportation to the castles. We can only plan 1 day for this (unfortunately) so no 3-day tours for us this time.
