As any reader of the Belgium RS guide book knows, Patrick is mentioned as a Food Tour guide. My wife and I joined Patrick for what he calls a 'Nibble Food Tour' (just 3 stops) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Patrick is very welcoming, provides interesting Bruges information, and selected 3 fun stops for us (a brewery, a praline shop and a waffle restaurant). We were very happy that we chose him and would highly recommend that you add him to your itinerary.
I am very interested in your post as we will be in Bruges for 6 days in April. I'm wondering how much $$ the food tour guide costs (?) and I'm wondering what makes it all worth the Euros ? If there are 3 stops, is there anything that happens or doors that are opened that one couldn't do themselves without a FTG ? I'm not being snarky (it's hard to tell in the written word on a forum). I'm just trying to be wise when spending our money.
Thanks so much,
~Mitzi
Tripletblessings, I've not taken it but here is the link to Patrick's "Nibble Food Tour". It includes pricing.

As well, if interested, you can listen to Patrick talk about food in Belgium on this free podcast. While he doesn't mention specific places he might stop at on his tour (for obvious reasons), you can get a good idea of the sort of interesting facts he can share about some of the local/national eats and drinks.
