Angel Tours was a great company to book to see the Ostia Anica ruins. This historical site is well preserved and an excellent way to see a typical Roman city. Matthew is an excellent tour guide and he had a thorough knowledge and understanding of this historical site. He shared his knowledge in an interesting manner with entertaining stories and detailed facts. While we were in Rome we took several tours and this one was the best.

We also took a Semi private 2.5 Hour Ancient Rome Tour through Vatican Tours inc. on July 4, 2016. It included the Colosseum ground and upper level, the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and Capitol Hill. We would rate the tour as fair because the tour guide seemed bored and disinterested in the tour.
On July 5th, 2016 our family did an excellent guided tour of The Vatican Museums and St.. Peter's Basilica. We booked it directly online with the Vatican Museums Booking system. The guide was very knowledge and was very enthusiastic about her topics. It was the 8:30 a.m. group tour, which we recommend because even though it's crowded in the summer-we did have time where it was less crowded in some of the areas.
