My wife and I did a day trip to the Amalfi Coast at the end of March 2016 and used Raffaele Monetti for the tour. Raffaele is recommended in Rick Steves 2015 (and probably other years) Italy Guide and I can definitely say that he is the way to go. Raffaele picked us up at our hotel on time and we proceeded to tour to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. We had time in each town to tour around and get some food/drinks. He is very knowledgeable about the entire coast line and just as importantly, very personable. When you are in a car with someone for 8 hours, you want them to be easy to talk to and that is exactly the case with Raffaele. Great tour that we will remember forever! I echo Patrick's sentiments about Raffaele. My wife and I, along with my 81 year old mother and stepfather, had a very enjoyable day with him on yesterday's Amalfi Coast tour (June 3, 2016), under sometimes trying circumstances (traffic-wise). He was prompt on the pick-up, very knowledgeable and informative about what we were seeing, flexible when it came to unforeseen contingencies, and thoughtful when it came to meals, shopping and the like. Our tour ran over at least an hour (not his or our fault) but I had to practically insist that he take more than the standard fare. By all means, use him; what a great resource, and a good man.
