Following Rick's advice in the Sorrento/Amalfi Coast section of his guidebook, we contacted Giovanna and Francesco Donadio. A very friendly husband and wife team who are residents of Sorrento. Francesco took us on a full day tour of the Amalfi coast starting from our hotel in Sorrento to Positano and Amalfi. Francesco, as Rick notes in his book, is a very "classy" professional who led us on a very informative tour of the spectacular coastline. The driving skills required to navigate this historic road should definitely be left to an experienced and talented driver. The highlight of our trip was a late lunch in the hilltop town of Ravello. We dined at "Cumpa Cosimo", a rustic family restaurant that served simple but expertly prepared seasonal local dishes. We cannot imagine a better way to see this beautiful stretch of Italy in one leisurely day.

We contacted Francesco Donadio to help us while in Sorrento celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Thedriver picked us up from the train station in Naples and brought us to the hotel as well as a return trip when we left. The vans were immaculately clean. Francesco set up a boat tour of Capri for our family. Alessis and boat captain David were amazing and had a wonderful trip. I highly recommend, they were so helpful and eased any travel angst we had.
