Headed to Rome next year - any advice on a good tour company for a day trip to Pompeii?

My husband and I stayed a week in Rome (November) and took one day to go to Pompeii. we followed Ricks instructions for the train (carefully). We hired a tour guide for 100 euros at the site. A lot but he was worth it and we learned so much. Also went to Naples and had pizza and went to the museum. All in one day!

My husband & I were there last May. We used Rick Steve's free audiotour of Pompeii. Download it before you go & bring headphones. It was fabulous and saved us alot of money. Highly recommend!
