If you're in Prague this weekend, that you'll have the double good fortune to chance upon good weather and a food festival.
The Bosch Fresh Festival is taking place on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June at Vitkov Park in Prague 3.
The festival will include twenty different food stands, fifteen different breweries, nine wineries and four coffee stands, all offering their fare in the beautiful Vitkov Park. There will also be competitions and cooking demonstrations happening throughout the day (but they will all be in the Czech language, so they may be have little appeal to non-Czech-speaking visitors).
The event runs from 10am to 9pm each day, and admission costs 100czk. It promises to be a great spread of food and drink, as well as a chance to avoid the crowds of tourists, mix with some locals, and taste some local and international cuisine. Also, the National Museum at Vitkov is one of the most impressive monuments in Prague, and the views from Vitkov Hill over the surrounding city are just spectacular, so you can get a museum, great views and a food festival in one fell swoop!
It's a real to-do if you're in Prague this weekend.
