I will be teaching in Prague for three weeks in July 2025. I will have a little time in Europe before my Teaching time begins and a little time after as well. And during the three weeks I will have a free weekend. I am interested in traveling to new areas near Prague for a 2 or 3 day side trip. All suggestions of where to travel and how will be appreciated.

You could also hit Bratislava on the Vienna trip.
Dresden, and Cesky Krumlov are also options.

Olomouc- 2 hours away by high-speed train . Kutna Hora- about 1 hour from Prague by train.

I forgot to mention Český Krumlov. If you haven't visited, you should. It's full of tourists, but with very good reason. Gorgeous.
