We will travel from Prague to Budapest on Sept 20th. There are two of us and we plan to use the sidetrip tours which will take 10 hours but will stop at a few places along the way. Has anyone use this service before and would you recommend it?

The tour has 3 interesting stops and given they are doing a 6 hour drive in 10 hours I suspect that while you could always spend more time at each stop, this isnt bad. And at a little more than $100 a person and a 8 persons / 10 hour tour .... sure..... Sounds like a RS tour but smaller and cheaper.
But I liked the shorter tours better. Say, from Prague to Vienna or Prague to Bratislava. Then spend theh night and do their tour to Budapest. Because they make even the shorter distance tours 10 hours long there are more stops and more sightseeing than on the longer tours.
If you do it, let us know how it goes.

So DayTrip (mydaytrip.com) has a competitor! I haven't used either company, but this seems a very useful service, and relatively reasonably priced.

We plan on doing this exact tour in November. Sounded like a fun way to get from Budapest to Prague.
