Traveling from Nürnberg to Prague

Hello.

Our family of 5 (2 adults, one 16, one 14, one 11 yo) will be traveling from Nürnberg to Prague on a Thursday in July. Looks like the "easiest" way to get there is by bus, or by several jogs of the trains.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best/cheapest way to do this leg of our journey?

Thanks so much!

I have used Flix Bus in Germany Munich to Salzburg to be exact and found that they are clean and reliable.
They have a bus service Nuremburg to Prague in 3:30 twice a week

Looks like you can get it for 42 Euro total by buying advance purchase non-refundable tickets. Right now, DB is not showing buses after March 31. I don't know what is up with that.
Bus is fastest and cheapest.

If you fancy a bit of an adventure (and a chance to meet a local), consider taking a Bla Bla Car.

Bla Bla Car is a ride sharing service (very popular amongst economical and efficient Germans) who advertise free seats in their cars, as well as their departure time and date, to people who want to get from A to B. Basically you agree to a car share and chip in for the petrol. If often works out much cheaper than the train and faster than the bus, and the driver hopes to break even by picking up a paying passenger.

Granted, with a family of five, it is very unlikely that you'd all be able to travel together, but you could easily split into three plus two.

It is a little unusual, but it could work for you.
