Transportation from Vaclav Havel Prague Airport to City Center/ Old Town

Also recommend Chris's service. Used them in April, 2018 for a very tight train station to hotel transport coming in from Krakow. Driver was terrific.

I just took that tour this year. I was going to use the service listed above. When I got the final information from the RS tour office they suggested this service.

I was met just outside baggage claim. Driver was professional and chatty but not overly so. Paid by credit card. No issues and I would use them again.

I can highly recommend this company, have used them on many occasions,actually run by an American ex-pat and his Czech wife.
There is no train from the airport to the centre and to get there by public transport is relatively easy but will require bus and metro or bus and tram.If you want to go down that route then let us know exactly where you are staying as things do vary depending on where you are staying.
Best advice is to use a transfer company as you will get to your accommodation quickly and easily.

Seems to me there is an Airport Express bus that takes you directly from Airport to Train station. It was inexpensive and the train station is in the old town area.
