transfer to ship in Passau

This is similar to a daytrip to Cesky Krumlov (maybe you'd want to add that on), so I'll mention that our host, Rick, mentions a couple of transfer car services in his Czech Republic book. It's a few hundred dollars, because they have to return empty, of course. We did this 19 years ago, and I've discarded the book. But your public library might well have a recent edition.

We stayed at the Hotel Pariz, which was not luxury in the Four Seasons way, but a lovely old, beautifully kept Art Deco/Nouveau building, which I believe had air conditioning, needed these days in the summer. We had a high, bright room, #501.
