I want to travel from Prague to Krakow via train in June with my friend. Do we need to reserve ahead of time. We'll have 6 days in Prague before heading out. We to head out in the morning and arrive early evening.
Any tips appreciated.

You don't have to buy tickets until just before departure. But if you wait you will probably pay 2 or 3 times more thsn the lowest discount price and you might not find 2 seats together.

If you want seats together, reserve early. It's free if you book through the Czech train site.
