We have been trying to book a train from Prague to Dresden EC 176 around 8:30am for August 15, 2019 for several weeks on Trainline and DB both say temporarily unavailable to book when you get to end of reservation. Have looked at same train for several other days that week as well and same thing. We want 1st class, but have tried to book 2nd class as well with the same response. No problem booking the return trip later that evening- also an EC train. Can anyone help with this?
try cd.cz and see if it works.
Even on the Czech Rail site it looks like an irregularity that will resolve itself well before August 15 just keep checkin back;
I know on the CD website, you cannot reserve until approx 60 days before the date of travel. On DB & CD, you can look up route, but not actually purchase the ticket until then. You might also check Regiojet site and look at both train and bus. When I was going to Munich from Prague, the bus was way faster and lots cheaper. The Prague to Dresden train tickets will probably be available on DB, CD trains, Regiojet, and maybe even Leo Express. Let me know if you have any questions! Look at number of train changes you'll need to make because some trains have zero changes and will be quicker. Good luck!
