We were in Prague last week and Vaclav Storek served as our guide for 2 mornings (The Grand Tour and Prague Castle) (https://prague-guide.wz.cz or [email protected]). He is excellent and was perfect for our three generation group. It was really a lovely experience for us to learn so much from a local expert. We learned about him in this forum and I just wanted to relay that I highly recommend him.

It was a little over $200 USD with the exchange rate for 4 hours of a private tour. it was a great value.

Vaclav had a conflict with our time in Prague unfortunately but he referred us to Darina Krajakova, who was a wonderful guide for a morning walking tour of the city. She's very well versed in the long history of the city and we found her stories of living behind the iron curtain to be very interesting. She also gave us great tips on additional sites to see, how to time things to avoid the crowds, and how to maximize our time in the city. I also appreciated that she reached out to ask about our interests and what would make our tour memorable. Not many guides do that - just the good ones! Highly recommend. [email protected]

My husband and I used Jason of LivingPrague.com for two different walking tours in May 2026, One was a small group tour, one was a private tour. He is excellent at conveying the history of Prague, managing the pace of his customers, and covering the important areas of the city. Lots of hidden gems. I think we would have missed seeing all the David Cerny art/sculptures on our own. In particular, his website is jam packed with useful information about the city and its attractions, hotels, transportation resources, and cafe suggestions.

We were in Prague at rhe beginning of May for a week. We did a fantastic pay-what-you-wish tour through GuruWalks which was actually with 100 Spires City tours. It was a great overview and we learned a lot. I highly recommend the experience.
We also hired Jason for the architectural tour based on recommendations here. We were disappointed. My husband is knowledgeable and found Jason tended to talk at us and not engage in conversation and, if my husband asked specific questions about particular styles, his answers were more rote than thoughtful. We had, unfortunately, seen much of what he showed us on our earlier tour and in our own exploration, so it was overall, not a satisfying experience.

I loved my tour with Jason in 2024. And when other people scheduled for the tour dropped out he did the tour as a private tour. He said he made a vow when he started his business not to cancel on people in that situation. I was so interested in the history and really felt lucky to soak it all in. He talked history, art, living in Prague now, very personable.
