The temptation exists to go to a different European city each weekend, especially as classes are structured in such a way that the students always have a three day weekend. So many of the study abroad students that I meet don't really know Prague or the Czech Republic, as they are too busy jetting off to Dublin/Barcelona/London/Copenhagen/Rome each weekend. Use your weekends to explore Prague and visit other great Czech student towns such as Brno and Olomouc. It's much more affordable, and you'll get a better sense of Czech culture.
